MTA and TBTA Prevail Against Challenges to Congestion Pricing

In a resounding victory, our clients the MTA and TBTA have once again prevailed against challenges to the congestion pricing program. We are gratified by Judge Liman’s decision today in four separate cases granting our motions to dismiss and for summary judgement. Kaplan Martin is proud to represent the MTA and TBTA, along with our co-counsel at Sive Paget & Riesel, in its efforts to implement and defend congestion pricing, which has already materially reduced traffic, congestion, and wait times in New York City and has generated much-needed revenue that will be used for infrastructure enhancements.
