Lauren Karpinski

Lauren received her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where she focused on constitutional litigation and public interest advocacy. While in law school, Lauren interned for the Honorable Rudolph Contreras at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, worked as a senior staff editor for the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law and Policy, and served as a student attorney in the Georgetown Domestic Violence Clinic, representing clients in the D.C. Superior Court. She also worked at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on employment discrimination claims and for Everytown Law, supporting impact litigation aimed at preventing gun violence.

Before law school, Lauren worked on various political campaigns and for a nonprofit focused on voting rights and campaign finance reform. She received her B.A. in Biology from Brown University.
